To set the answer mode
To set or change the answer mode, use the following steps:

On the control panel, press menu/enter.

Using the < and > buttons, select
Fax Setup

menu/enter.

Fax Recv. Setup

menu/enter.

Press menu/enter to select
Answer Mode
.

Using the < and > buttons, select
Automatic
or
Manual
, and press
menu/enter.

The control panel display shows the answer mode setting that you
specified.
